At a young age, I could be found wandering the East Coast woods with my brothers and a little film camera. Now, there’s not much of a difference, just a larger camera and a dog by my side. I moved to Colorado in 2012 and instantly fell in love - from the bluebird skies to the snowy peaks to the sparkling mountain lakes - I knew this was the place for me.

Like Bilbo Baggins, I went off on an adventure and followed it beyond Colorado. My wanderlust led me to study abroad in New Zealand, become a scuba instructor in the Canary Islands, explore Hawaii’s underwater world, and eventually call the Carolinas home. In 2021, I felt the pull back to Colorado, and I’m beyond grateful to be back where my heart feels most at home.

As a scuba instructor, I also became a certified interpretive guide. This taught me the principles of educating people about our amazing natural world. As a photographer, I have studied the Leave No Trace principles and abide by them during every photoshoot.
